Enjoy The Ride
I often hear people, as well as myself, compare their lives to a rollercoaster. It’s a journey full of twists and turns, peaks and valleys, ups and downs. The idea is to figure out how to enjoy the ride along the way.
I had a rollercoaster experience.
When our children were younger, we enjoyed taking them to amusement parks. As they got bigger, so did the rides.
When we felt like they could handle it, we took them to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. At the time, it had one of the tallest and fastest roller coasters in the world.
While I had always enjoyed riding them, I realized that as I was getting older and they were getting bigger I had some fear to work through before I could really enjoy it.
Through the power of prayer and positive self-talk, I was able to raise my hands up high and go.
Wow . . .
“I surrender.”
