A New Direction

“How interesting,” I thought as I read the fortune from my Chinese cookie.

“Right now there’s an energy pushing you in a new direction.”

While I don’t put my faith in a fortune cookie, I am curious with how it might relate to me.

I immediately resonated with the thought of going in a new direction. This has been on my mind for a while now.

What didn’t resonate with me is the idea of being “pushed”.

Somehow pushing feels like being forced.

I prefer the idea of choosing, or allowing, maybe even pulling.

I do believe there is an energy guiding and nudging me along the way.

I know my true fortune lies in better aligning with this powerful energy within me and then choosing my direction accordingly.

As I reflect on this more, maybe I do need a push right now.
