Our home is in a new development and not on the map, yet.

When I tell people to put the name of our development into their GPS, they agree to do so and then proceed to put in our address.

Then, what typically happens is, about the time they say they will arrive I get the call that they are lost.

“What did you put in your GPS?” I ask.

“Your address,” they answer.

Then I repeat, put in the name of our development. It will bring you right here.

Do they think I’m kidding?

Was I not clear?

It makes me wonder.

When it happened again this week, I pondered this idea even more. 

I put myself in their shoes and questioned myself.

Do I sometimes get directions and then interpret them in my own way?

The answer is, “Yes”.

It is my desire to follow my True North.

Sometimes He gives us directions that are difficult to follow.

It may seem easier to do things our way.

However, He is very clear.

And, He is not kidding.

He is also very forgiving and always ready to redirect and give us a fresh start.

Wow . . .
