Thanks And Praise
I had been looking and watching for something specific to come in the mail.
Day after day, it didn’t.
It was something that, once received, I would pass on to my son.
The day approached that my son would be coming home for a quick visit.
“That’s the day it will arrive,” I thought.
“That’s when I will give thanks, and praise God for His timing,” my thoughts continued.
And, “This will be another great example of how God works in our lives that I can then share with my son.”
That morning I checked the mail. There it was. An envelop with the return address I was hoping to see.
As I pulled it out of the mailbox, ready to give thanks and praise, I could tell it wasn’t what I expected.
In fact, upon opening it, I found the message it contained to be a bit concerning.
That’s when I made a decision.
I decided to give thanks and praise anyway because, no matter what, God is Good.
Wow . . .
“Our circumstances need not determine our actions.”
Here’s to more WOW Moments!
