What To Do
The week before my weekend retreat, I had an early birthday lunch with a friend.
We had a good time chatting, catching up and having spirit-filled moments in our conversation.
At the end of our lunch, she gifted me with a new book.
I was so happy to receive it and thought it would be a good one to take with me on my retreat.
Immediately afterwards, I began pondering what to do.
Should I start reading it before I left? Or, should I wait and start it when I am there?
I decided I would know what to do.
As soon as I got home, I began reading it. I quickly realized that I was meant to read this book before going away.
Afterall, the purpose for me going away is about having less to do and more time to be.
One of the lines in the book is:
“You can learn more in an hour of silence than you can in a year from books.”
Wow . . .
“Just be.”
Here’s to more WOW Moments!
