A Turning Point

Was there a turning point in your life? A point when you began to believe in God? A point when you decided to live your life for Him?

Our stories are as unique as we are and I love listening to them.

For some, I know, it was a specific moment at a specific time in a specific place.

For others, it’s more gradual – evolving over time, with extraordinary experiences along the way.

I believe it’s a decision that we need to make over and over again while we act accordingly. Acting accordingly is essential.

In a recent professional development setting, I shared my desire to work with individuals who want to grow in their spiritual life. I added that I wanted them to either believe in the Holy Spirit or be open to believing.

The feedback I received suggested that I consider being more open because many people are spiritual and not necessarily Christ-centered.

“I understand,” I replied respectfully.

“For them,” I said. “I would not be a good fit.”

That, for me, was yet another turning point. A point when I felt strong, bold, confident, convicted in my faith and how I wanted to move forward in my life and in my vocation.

It was the perfect professional development, divinely designed just for me.

I thanked my colleagues and so appreciate them.

Through them, I received exactly what I needed – an opportunity to gain more clarity on my path forward.

This is how the Holy Spirit works – always pointing us in the right direction – if we but pay attention, notice and follow.

Wow . . .

“I AM open to Divine direction.”

Here’s to more WOW Moments!

❤️ Lucy
