Delivery Time

We recently acquired a brand new address and it seems the postal service is not yet familiar with it.

While doing my online Christmas shopping my emails have been quite interesting. One day I’ll get one that says. “Your package is on the way!”

Then, a couple of days later, the same vendor will send one that says, “Your package is being returned.”

It makes me want to jump into my inbox and scream, “NO! Please don’t take it back.”

When I decided to reorder an item, the email response was, “Something great is on the way.”

That response caused me to pause.

In that moment, I knew that it was true.

I also knew that I may or may not receive what I ordered.

I believe good things are always headed our way. I also believe we need to be patient, resilient and open to what it will look like and how it is packaged.

Not everything is meant for us.

Let’s be open to what is.
