Good to Know

I heard Him say,

I’ve got this.
Trust me.
Do not be afraid.

It’s hard to hear these words in the midst of chaos and confusion - especially when we think we need to figure it all out.

And, it’s easy to forget these words when we become consumed with and by other things.

In this moment, I am remembering.

It is very clear.

I know these words to be true.

They are true for me and true for you.

I am reminded of when Peter is walking on water and begins to sink when he takes his eyes off of Jesus, sees how strong the wind is and becomes frightened.

That challenge that you are facing, the struggle you are dealing with . . .

He’s got it.
Trust Him.
Do not be afraid.

This isn’t a promise that it will be easy. It’s a promise that He will be with us through it all.

We don’t have to have it all figured out. We need to rely on Him and do our part.

Jesus is always stretching out his hand – to keep us steady, to catch us and to remind us of His power and love.

Wow . . .

“He’s got this.”
