He Is Calling
Part of my morning devotional includes reading from Sarah Young’s book, Jesus Calling, which contains devotions for everyday of the year. I typically take the book with me if I am traveling.
This time, as I prepared for a quick overnight trip, I decided to take a picture of the next day’s message instead of packing the book.
I’m sure there is an online way to get the message. I would still rather read from a printed page, or in this case, from a picture of it.
Ironically the day I was away from this book, the Gospel message was about Jesus calling.
In the story of Bartimaeus, Jesus asks, “What do you want me to do for you?” (Mark 10:51)
This question comes after Bartimaeus had persistently cried out for help.
Now, Jesus is calling to him much like He calls out to each one of us.
We are encouraged to be courageous, to jump up and to respond to His call.
What do you want Him to do for you?
Wow . . .
“Be Courageous.”
Here’s to more WOW Moments!
