In Dew Time

Sitting under the metal cover of our deck a couple of months ago, we noticed it could use a good cleaning.

I put this on my mental list of things to do and knew that I would eventually get to it.

More recently, I spent time thinking of how I would go about this process. I imagined having a bucket of water, maybe with a little bleach in it, pulling out the ladder and scrubbing away.

I finally felt inspired to do this task and set aside time this past Saturday morning.

I grabbed my cleaning cloths and headed outside. First, I wanted to see how intense I would need to scrub.

I was amazed at how easily it wiped clean. And, with the whole area covered with dew, there was no need for me to fill a bucket.

In fact, as I wiped, I would often stop to wring out my rags. The water was abundant.

While I certainly needed to do my part, I was profoundly reminded that God works with us providing exactly what we need along the way.

He sends down His Spirit, like the morning dew, to refresh, nourish and provide for us daily.

Wow . . .

“Soak up His goodness.”

Here’s to more WOW Moments!
