Phone A Friend

Last week I reached out to text someone. That’s when things began to go haywire.

My phone had reached it’s limit and was malfunctioning. It was old and needed to be replaced.

Then, the dread set in. The idea of getting a new phone triggers something in me.

I know. I know. To many of you it’s no big deal.

And, it really shouldn’t be to me either.

But, when you don’t do something every decade or so it can feel a certain kind of way.

I understand the phone companies want us to keep upgrading. I’m just not a fan of always having a payment.

My phone bill is already high enough. In fact, I have been meaning to call the company and see about how they could reduce my bill.

The irony of it all is that, in the process of getting a new phone, my phone bill was lowered - significantly.

Now, even with the new phone, I am paying less.

Sometimes the thing we put off doing to save money, actually costs us.

Now I am pondering what else I have been “meaning to do.”

Is there something that you, too, need to handle sooner rather than later?

Wow . . .

“It’s your call.”

Here’s to more WOW Moments!
