Slow Down

A few years ago we had a metal cover built over a large part our deck.

Now, one of my favorite things to do is to sit on the deck when it’s raining outside.

I love the sound of the rain on the metal roof. I love how the rain is all around me and yet I am protected from it.

It’s refreshing, relaxing and good for my soul.

Time on my deck is also time I spend with God. He must have known what I needed as He poured it out on Saturday.

Wow . . .
