So That
Recently I’ve been pondering the story in the bible about the man born blind. When the disciples ask about the reason he was born blind, Jesus answered.
“…so that the works of God might be made visible through him…” John 9:3
Then, Jesus preceded to heal him.
This opens my eyes to see things more clearly.
When questioning the reason things happen, we can look for visible signs of God’s work in and around the situation.
When we seek them, we will find them.
It can certainly shed light on difficult situations.
Jesus made the mud/clay to put on the blind man’s eyes and told him to go wash them.
The man immediately went and did so.
It is through faith and obedience that we can clear up our own muddy situations.
And when we do, we better reflect the light of the world.
Wow . . .
“Let Him shine through you.”
