The Right Way
Walking along the trails in a nearby park, my husband said, “I wonder which is the right way to go.”
“The right way?” I thought.
From my perspective there was not a “right way” to walk these trails. It was just a matter of which way we wanted to go.
In the end, they would all eventually lead us back to our parked car.
I was there to enjoy the journey.
He wanted to have a clear picture of the direction we were going in.
I found this fascinating.
It was a wonderful reminder of how we all approach things differently.
As I reflected on this more I thought about how sometimes, in life, I too want a clear picture of my direction. In certain situations, it can be difficult to proceed without this clarity.
As we were exiting the wooded area and making our way back to the car, we came across a map of the trails. There, we could clearly see where we had been.
My walk in the park will be my reminder to enjoy the journey whether I am in or, out of the woods.
Wow . . .
“Take the next best inspired step.”
