Wisdom
“I have always thought of you as a wise person.”
This is what was said to me as we were wrapping up a zoom session.
When I hear words like this I know it’s the Holy Spirit working through me.
I am grateful.
Wisdom is one of the seven gifts offered to all of us from the Holy Spirit.
I remember when I was in high school, preparing for my confirmation and learning about these gifts. I was so enamored at the thought of receiving them.
It felt magical.
It still does.
Such a powerful force that is invisible, untouchable yet so gentle, available and felt so deeply. The Spirit wants to be active in our lives to guide us, to encourage us and to comfort us.
I recently participated in a Bible Study at my church on the Holy Spirit. I learned a lot and more importantly I learned that I still have so much to learn.
Sometimes wisdom comes from what I recently heard an executive coach say. He suggests that in pursuing what is important, at times we must be “too stupid to quit.”
In essence, we must keep going.
My faith is very important to me. I am not quitting. In fact, I continue to feel bolder and stronger and more confident in my purpose every day.
I am also eager to help others better align their lives with their faith, with their Christian values and with who they are truly called to be.
It is my intention to do so as well - at the same time - as pilgrims on a journey together.

Remember the enemy wants us to give up hope, to quit believing and to give in to his ways.
Let’s not go there.
The kingdom of God is at hand.
Wow . . .
“Trust the Spirit.”
Here’s to more WOW Moments!
