Fall In Love
Feeling sick for a few days last week, had a way of putting things in perspective for me.
I was grateful that I could temporarily let go of everything and just care for myself. As I did, I thought about the people who are constantly caring for others and rarely taking a break even when they desperately need one.
I said a prayer for them.
Nap after nap, I was keenly aware of how sleeping is healing. It made me think about how much healing is needed right now both collectively and individually in our body, mind and soul.
I prayed for that.
As I turned the corner and began to feel better, I thought about the people who are sick for a very long time. And, I thought about the ones who never get better.
I prayed for them and for their loved ones.
Through all of this thinking, I started questioning what mattered most to me. As the answers came, I realized it was time to better align my actions.
It’s one thing to think about the people we love, the things we love to do and the person we feel called to be. It’s another thing to notice where we fall short and act accordingly.
Wow . . .
“Time to turn over a new leaf.”
Here’s to more WOW Moments!
