Frozen

Having a group discussion on Zoom about faith, I openly shared how I see God’s plan at work.

There was something I said that caused a reaction from someone else on the call.

“Wait,” she said, as she started to express her thoughts.

Then, in that moment, everyone froze.

Literally.

Something must have happened to my internet. About a minute later, we were all live and moving again.

I asked her to repeat what she said.

Still trying to process what just happened, what I remember most is her explaining that she doesn’t think about it “moment by moment.”

“Really?” I thought to myself, because my brain seems to always think in “moments.”

It was fascinating to discuss and discover different ways of thinking. It was also a good reminder of how important it is for us to keep talking and listening to one another.

I continue to ponder this and reflect on that moment.

Wow . . .
