Getting Old

I must admit, it’s been a while since I stood in front of a crowd and shared a little about my faith, my book and the lessons my wow moments offer.

When I did so recently, I was left with a few more lessons that prove true for me.

First, as I waited to be introduced and conscientious of the time frame given, I mentally and strategically began eliminating some parts of my talk. Afterwards, it felt good to be timely and more importantly to realize that I actually have more to say.

Secondly, as I read a few Wow Moments from my book – moments written almost 20 years ago – I was reminded of how the truth is timeless. It lives forever.

And finally, based on the feedback I received, I remembered how hungry people are for what is true and good and right – no matter their age or stage.

That’s the truth.
