Nesting

I remember being very pregnant and walking through the aisles of a home improvement store. Whatever I was doing or getting at the time felt very important to me, like it couldn’t wait and had to be done.

It’s amazing how we begin to see things differently once we change our perspective or point of view.

These days, now with an empty nest, I find myself nesting for a different purpose.

It seems to be more about having less stuff and more stuff that feels good and supports who we are today.

It’s about refreshing and reenergizing our space. It’s also about releasing old ways and recommitting to new ones.

What I know to be true for me, is that I don’t have to go far to create a life I love.
