New Beginnings
Early in our marriage somehow, someway, we came up with the concept of “starting over”.
We practiced it again recently.
For us this means, that in that moment, we stop whatever negativity is in play, give each other some space and begin again with a fresh start.
In other words, we forgive each other and move on.
Being able to “start over” defeats the idea of it “being over”.
As I write this now, I am reminded of the importance of forgiveness and how it is demonstrated to us through the death and resurrection of Christ.
When things appear to be over, it may actually be a transformation of sorts - a new life, a re-birth.
Sometimes this is preceded by pain and suffering.
Understanding this can help us build a better relationship with ourselves and others.
Reflecting back, I am sure it was the Holy Spirit that brought this concept into our marriage.
Thank you, God.
Wow . . .
“We have the power within us to begin again.”
Here’s to more WOW Moments!
