Unwrap The Message

This week I received a message from someone who subscribes to this weekly WOW blog.

The message said that they didn’t read my blog.

“Okay…” I thought.

I reread that a couple of times allowing it to sink in.

While I know not all subscribers actually open and read the blog, receiving a message to specifically tell me so was interesting.

Then, I continued to read the message.

That’s when they explained that they didn’t read it on the day they received it. Rather, they opened it up later in the week when they felt like they “needed it.”

They compared it to a “choice piece of chocolate”, saving it for later.

This caused a shift in my thinking and I pondered this message and the meaning of it for a while.

A few things came to mind.

• When we put something out into the world, we never know how or when it will be received.

• Let go of trying to figure it all out and do it anyway.

• Be open to receive, ponder and apply the message and meaning of the moments intended for you.

Wow . . .
